Best Theme Parks In Asia

Theme park junkies need not make their pilgrimage to the USA anymore with the Asian theme park scene heating up fast. While old favourites like Ocean Park have revamped their offerings with new rides and attractions, all eyes are on the upcoming Universal Studios at Resorts World Sentosa due to launch sometime 1st or 2nd quarter next year. Here's a rundown at some of the hottest asian theme parks this season.
Ocean Park
Founded in 1977, Ocean Park is one of the oldest surviving theme parks in Asia and is still lots of fun today. The marine themed amusement park houses lots of educational marine exhibit,s dolphin shows, a few rides and is also home to several endangered pandas. As part of a huge redevelopment plan, they have also introduced 2 new attractions, the Amazing Asian Animals exhibit as well as the Ocean Express. The huge new Amazing Asian Animals exhibit houses cool new animals like the Chinese salamander, Chinese Alligators, Red Pandas, otters, turtles and birds. Probably going to be great with the kids.
The new Ocean Express ride is really an park tunnel system that turns a boring journey from one part of the park to another, into a undersea odyssey.

Resorts World Sentosa
Home to Universal Studios Singapore, Resorts World Sentosa is set to be a world class attraction and will also house the world's largest Marine Life Park, Equarius Water Park and a destination spa – ESPA. Resorts World Sentosa is also set to house the Maritime Xperiential Museum, which tells the tale of maritime adventurers, sea pirates, and the growth of sea trade between Asia, the Middle East and Europe 1,000 years ago.
The resort is set to launch in stages and we can expect to see Universal Studios Singapore, along with several hotels and of course the casino, to be launched sometime early to mid next year.

Tokyo Disney Resort
One of the first Disneylands outside USA, Tokyo Disney Resort is today one of the top 3 most popular parks in the world and is the only Disneyland themepark with a nautical theme (Tokyo DisneySea). This year sees the introduction of the Monsters, Inc. Ride & Go Seek! animatronics tram ride where guests get to use “flashlights” to spot hidden monsters.
Turtle Talk also makes its grand entrance to the park this October and you get to talk real-time to Crush sea turtle from the Disney/Pixar film Finding Nemo!
